OMG . . . too funny . . . this may become a classic . . .

Watching Emeril Live . . . don't get any ideas . . . nothing else is on right now.

Classic . . . Emeril is talking about fresh horseradish . . . he holds up a piece of horseradish, which any way you look at it is VERY suggestive of the complete male anatomy. At one point, Emeril, though he keeps going on, even covers it with a towel.

Throughout the whole thing all I could think of was the classic Julia Child routine I once saw . . . where she finished her show on goose by summing up . . .

"You can cook your goose, or you can goose your cook. Bon Apetit!!!"

That is too funny!! My favorite TV cooking funny was when Martha Stewart

was making profiteroles with the muppet Elmo on her show. They were getting ready to say goodbye and I think Elmo asked Martha for a hug and she said "How about a French kiss instead?", she meaning they should kiss each other on each cheek since they had been making French pastries. Now I know Elmo is not a real person, but the person(s) operating him at that moment must have been taken a back because the look of confusion and perhaps panic on Elmo's little muppet face was priceless. There was a poignant pause after which Martha quickly explained what she had meant much to Elmo's and his operator's relief. I have never laughed so hard during a cooking show as I did at that moment. I only wish I had TiVo back then.
