though I've had it on my pc for months. I figured if Google Notebook was that cool, I had to check out Picasa. Awesome!

I should have mentioned that Google Notebook is a Google Labs experimental product.

Google Labs means it's so experimental that it's not even in "beta" yet. So it's likely to change and evolve over time and may possibly even disappear if they decide it's not worth pursuing. So that's something to think about if you use it for long-term recipe storage. But Google being Google, I'm betting it'll stay.
