Wonderful. It's funny how I've only recently learned to love collard greens, and I can sympathise
with anyone who automatically expects something on a holiday because that's what they've always known.
Today I detailed the steps of cooking a turkey once again for my chiropractor--hard to do while someone is cracking your neck. He is Caucasian, his wife is Chinese-American, his in-laws are from China, and the only way he gets to smell turkey on Thanksgiving is if he cooks one himself. It's the one and only time of year he cooks, and he only cooks the turkey, so it is surrounded by wonderful Chinese food as sides. I think that sounds great.
