because on Monday night/Tuesday morning, there will

also be a total lunar eclipse, visible from start to

finish in all parts of North America (including

Hawai'i).

This will be the first total lunar eclipse to occur

on the day of the Winter Solstice (in the Northern

Hemisphere) since the year 1638.

If we don't melt away in a deluge....

... of non-stop rain, I will definitely celebrate this special Solstice!

My bones are getting wet... it's been raining forever and it won't stop anytime in the near future.... (sigh)
