I'd have scrambled eggs with cheese and toast for dinner. Went to one Amish farm where I bought a dozen fresh eggs (with bright yellow yolks) for $1.00. At the same farm I bought a chunk of sharp cheddar for. 75! Went to the next farm and bought butter for $1.50 and she just happened to be taking huge loaves of raisin bread out of the oven...$2.00. Spread with my homemade strawberry preserves. Enjoyed every bite.

I still have to drive 60 miles to shop though.

nice! we stayed one night in Amish country in Indiana, Shipshewana. It's pretty quiet on Sunday---

not the best shopping or eating day---but Monday morning it was bustling and so nice to hear all the clip-clops.

Just love that! Gives me a glimpse in your life... Very different here w/ the trains/buses.

Sounds very special....
