One perfect fig from the tree...what to do with it????

On the outside chance that you still have it, or for the next one, quarter, top with chopped toasted

walnuts and crumbled gorgonzola cheese. Drizzle with balsamic vinaigrette (balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, a pinch of thyme, and olive oil).

I would have tried this...yumm. We had it with warm S. Marcelin cheese, toasted

walnuts, drizzle of honey, rocket, pancetta, beetroot, crackers.

I used a bit of the ceasar salad dressing for tonight over the greens.....
I love it when I look at a plate and see what has come from the garden.

egg (in ceasar dressing)
rocket
beetroot
spring onion snips
and of course the FIG

May I have another serving please?
