Actually, it was good, but a little went a long way. I got a gift card to our wonderful Italian market and so got a lot of goodies. Dinner tonight was gorgonzola & walnut ravioli topped with caramelized shallots & sauteed mushrooms, followed by a few bites of a very rich & very boozy tiramisu, made in house by the sister of the family who is a fantastic baker/cook.
I've decided that gorgonzola ravioli should be an appetizer, with maybe some kind of matchstick apple salad to cut the rich, strong, saltiness. If I made them myself and wanted them for a main course I think I'd cut the gorgonzola more with a healthy dose of ricotta.
