Did I miss anyone?

Does anyone need to drop out?

I haven't heard from some folks regarding name/address and I'll need a firm count to make contingency plans.

ALSO:

If anyone would just like to send along a note of support for our soldiers, I'll be more than happy to include it in the boxes I'm preparing. Just mail it to me and I'll make sure it gets in one of the boxes.

My home info is in the link.

I ordered 50 Flat-rate boxes from the PO. If any one wants to mail me their goodies...

packed in a regular box, I can transfer and pack up a flat-rate box for you myself.

I'd like to be as flexible as possible.

I may have to do that, Marilyn- am having trouble getting the flat rate boxes.

It seems, once again, things are different here on Kauai....even with the Post Office smileys/smile.gif

I'll find boxes that are very close in size so you don't have to eat some of the cookies in order to pack them in the flat rate boxes-LOL.

Marilyn, you should receive either 4 PM's or none, but I wanted to say I'm still in.

I can do 2 boxes if you still need volunteers.

Thanks for making this so easy for us!

Hi Joe, no PMs, but I will take you up on your gracious offer for two boxes. THANKS!>>

You can email your name/address/phone/email info to me at my work

(Marilyn's Note, Dec 2, 2006: I have removed my personal information.)

Marilyn, you've probably posted the dimensions a dozen times but I don't know which size

flat-rate box to use. I just picked up the 8-1/2 x 11 x 5-1/2's. There is also a larger, flatter size. Fortunately the post office is 2 doors away.

You got the right one, Joe. (8-1/2 x 11 x 5-1/2) Another reminder...

I have a bunch of these boxes and will gladly pack up stuff if any volunteers can't locate them. Just mail me whatever you want to ship.

They (the "powers that be") would like all the boxes to be the same size and arrive in Iraq at approximately the same time. That way, each soldier gets the same amount of treats.

That is also why I'll re-post all the collected packages on the same day (Monday Nov 27).
