Orchid and Curious1 the Beef Stew with Carrots and Red Wine is amazing!!

I made it yesterday along with some mashed potatoes. What a fabulous stew. I had an almost 3 lb piece of meat and DH and I ate almost half of the stew! It is one of the best things I have made in a long time. Thank you so much for sharing it with us!

For dessert was Shaun in TO's Orange Polenta Cake from Gourmet..

Another fantastic winner! I was "practicing" it for dinner tonight. We are supposed to go to friends for the superbowl but no plow on our street yet, covered with over 2 feet of snow!

I'm glad, I've loved all Molly Stevens recipes I've tried. All About Braising, great cookbook.

Edited to say this recipe is from FC,not in the book.
