Thank you so much for this too-easy recipe. I made the recipe as is but I cut the butter by half and it was still scrumptious.

It will now be a staple in our house:)

Oh, if I could only take credit for this great recipe...but I can't. It was ShaunTO

who posted it for me to try. And I agree with you, It is wonderful. I was going to post a thank you to Shaun tomorrow but I will now. I made it on Friday with Lemon-Rosemary Grilled Shrimp Skewers and a green salad. Wow! We both loved this so much. And the lemon shrimp a perfect pair up with the pasta. I made it exactly as written. Shaun...My Guy (aka husband of 41 years) said to tell you Thank You. Me too!

Here's the recipe I use for the Shrimp. We love it. The original recipe

is from Bon Appetit but uses Chicken. I just kinda adapted it for shrimp. It is a great combination. I have posted a link for the chicken recipe.

Lemon-Rosemary Shrimp Skewers

Recipe By : Bon Appetit
Serving Size : 2

12 Large Shrimp
8" bamboo skewers, soaked in water 30 minutes -- drained
1/4 cup olive oil
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1 1/2 bay leaves -- broken into small pieces
2 1/4 teaspoons fresh rosemary -- chopped
1 large garlic cloves -- minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1/4 cup mayonnaise

Pour oil into bowl. Whisk in next 6 ingredients. Pour marinade over shrimp. Marinade 1/2 hour, turning often.

Remove shrimp from marinade and skewer; reserve marinade.

Transfer reserved marinade to small saucepan. Boil over medium high heat 1 minute. Strain and pour marinade into medium bowl and cool. Whisk in mayonnaise. Season sauce with salt and pepper to taste. Chill Mayo. Grill Shrimp and serve with mayonnaise sauce.

Somehow I missed this the first time round. Thanks for posting again.

I think I will make this tonight with chicken. And a green salad, french bread.

OK, it's obvious that if we ever meet up Shaun there will not be a picture! LOL!

It's habit. I was raised that a meal plan was...
A protein....beef, pork, chicken or fish
Starch...rice, pasta or potato
Veggie...well you get it
And Salad
Can't get away from it. It rules me.
Thanks for such a great recipe!
