Orchid, the rhubarb Dutch babies were a huge hit! As a finale to a progressive garden tour

we made them in muffin tins in our new wood-burning oven.

I used the batter in your recipe, (after a trial run I increased the sugar to one tablespoon and added a pinch of salt.)

I already had rhubarb jam so we used that, though I am sure the compote in the recipe is delicious. The tartness was perfect with the buttery Dutch baby.

perfect! I'm tinkering with planning a trip down there next year to join you in this and then the

Mexico cruise for olive oil. I hope you make these again!

Oh good! Do you grow rhubarb in your garden? If you do, be

sure and try that compote. I guarantee you will love it! I'm so glad to see how you enjoy using your oven and thanks for letting me know.
