oy....

My family stuffed all afternoon and evening....

And I'm not sure why but I just wasn't all that hungry. I did just have a piece of pie, though. With whipped cream, of course. NOT what I needed at 9 pm!

My youngest daughter and fiance had gone to his grandmother's dinner today, then came here. I guess she didn't eat much as she was 'saving it' for our meal. He said she was talking to him all the way here about what we would have to eat. I couldn't believe it but evidently, Brad had never had real homemade whipped cream before! I didn't say anything but I was amazed. He loved it! smileys/smile.gif He'd only had Cool Whip all his life. Even on fresh strawberries. Wow

Glad you have a full tummy, Michael. We have much to be thankful for.

Love from Missouri!

Oy Vey...I thought I was going to BURST last night....

actually had to excuse myself from the table and lay down for a few minutes I was so uncomfortable!

Holidays like this could make Ghandi over eat...

...Well...ok....one more piece of pie (in your best Ghandi-voice)

Michael

PS: heard a comedian say that once...

I'm so tired on Thanksgiving day from all the prep, cooking, etc. that I do not enjoy the meal

however, tonight is leftovers. Put food on the plate, zap in the microwave (carefully, as to not dry out the turkey) and enjoy. Not pots, or pans, or energentic grankids under foot....just a nice quiet dinner.

I love it when I do it with my daughter, or my sis... the fellowship is what is important to me.

It seems like the meal is over in just a blink of the eye---oy, all that prep work.

good thing I love the process as much as the meal.
