Pampered Chef is having a party in our neighbour hood and would like to know what you guys think of this gadget compared to bringing out the FA to make whipped cream.

It is another gadget to store and clean. Many chefs/home cooks simply make whip cream with a large

whisk.I use a KA hand held beater. Many kitchen gadgets do more than one job.

Don't know what the pampered chef one looks like, but we have

one by another company and find it very useful for whipping cream that will not be used all at once. It's just my husband and I now and we are able to add whipped cream to our individual desserts and save the rest for another time. When I am making it for a dessert that will be eaten by a group, I still use my KA mixer.

I just remembered that we have an iSi Desert and whipped cream maker. Love it

and it is very impressive to do at the table. It goes by a different name now, but is exactly like the one I have. I have provided a link for you to peruse the gadget.

these look like the manual milk frothers for coffee drinks--would a milk frother whip cream? (nt)

Needs too much cream to be useful and I hardly ever do a pint at a time. I sure can send you a bunch

of cartridges though.

I've learned to make my old stick blender do the job with just the regular blades.

The ISI is what I prefer using when I'm away frm home catering -or- at a relative's home where

there is NO KA either on a stand or hand-held. I find this practically impossible to imagine, but it's reality for some folks.

My sis has an Isi that we've used often. We have to host events and parties

Where whipped cream garnish needs to be done last minute. It's been super convenient for that.
