And I mean everything.

There are two things I would like to add to the wonderful information everyone shared with me.

1. Not far from the Fouchon and the mustard shop, is a wonderful food street, rue Vignon.(75008) There are wonderful shops for many foods- honey, chocolate, etc. The shop that charmed us was TERRES DE TRUFFES which is a restaurant and also sells truffes. We had a magnificent dinner there - everything is with truffels - what can be bad!!

2. This may not be new to some of you but there is an discount chain of kitchenware - mostly plates, silverware, glasses but lots of ceramic cookware and other too.

It is called La Vaissellerie and it was much fun and not a lot of money either!. Anyone interested let me know and I will send all the address (probably better in a PM).

would it be a good idea to ask Mimi to create a Travel tips folder in T&T? It sure

would be handy to find these wonderful posts about Paris and Italy and wherever else the crow flies, in one place.

AngAk, that is a WONDERFUL idea! I'm going to Italy and Provence this fall

and I have been thinking about posting a post, asking for tips on what restaurants to visit.

Such a grand city! On that street also, is a cheese store called le Fermier, which will pack cheese

for suitcase export. And at right angles to it is another street where you'll find Olivier, the olive oil people, a store jammed with all their specialties.

Are you ready to go back?

I loved Paris, found it beautiful but my heart belongs to Rome. It

is just the most amazing city so full of history.
