club meeting on Monday. Reviewing the recipe I'm wondering, given that the frosting is poured on hot, if it pools on the sides of the cake and if it's difficult to remove from the pan.

As Melissa said, not difficult at all. There may be

ever so slight pooling of the frosting around the edges but usually not much.

It's one of the easiest from-scratch cakes I know -- can be made all in one pan. Enjoy.
