My apologies...I STILL cannot figure out the latent sugar problem with this recipe. I've adapted, I've modified, I've reconfigured...but it randomly appears. It is this randomness that's the issue. If it happened 100% of the time, I could figure it out. But I prepare the recipe and it works...

Sadly, no. Deb in MI asked for a smaller version as the ones above make approx six 1-Cup jars. Both recipes were listed in the T&T under candy, but only as a link. I did the original math to downsize the recipe so I should be able to do it again if the original post isn't around.

The small batch recipe might have 4 or 5 oz of chocolate, 2 or 3 oz of evap milk...something like that and would only make >1 cup.
