Paul, hope you and your family are safe. So sad to see the fires burning

it is devestating

We got woken up at 3am and people have been calling and texting since then. My wife' phone service was mostly off. Mine worked though consistently. We have been outside the evacuation zone but several friends and family members have completely lost their homes. The sky was black for miles. This video is from a local newspaper reporter. At the beginning that is the block my aunt and uncle live on. THey are traveling so are safe but not what you want when you are away from home either.

On standby right now to

go and assist with evacuation efforts in Santa Rosa area. Red Cross volunteer pool is maxed out so they are calling for any adult volunteers to help. Waiting now for Hwy 37 and other roads to open and hoping I can get there easily.

Glad you are safe. My niece in Rohnert Park is okay at the moment. So sorry to hear that your friends and family lost their homes. So sad.

very strong winds

I heard stuff banging and crashing last night

Glad you are safe. Fires are just terrible.

I know a few people who lost their house and my niece is in Calistoga, not sure if she's evacuated yet or not. This whole thing is just so completely devastating and how the fires were pushed into the urban area is just shocking. All the way down here in the Southbay I woke up thinking the house was on fire because of the smoke.

we are evacuating

second blaze they are calling Nunsfire is expanding and winds are supposed to pick up overnight so we gotta go.

Oh, Paul. I am so sorry to hear this. What a tragedy for so many folks. I pray you & yours &

your house all make it through this ugly situation in fine fettle. God bless. Caryn
