Penzey’s curry powders

I’ve just reordered some and noticed the difference in price of the maharajah and regular. Any explanation?

This is the description of the mahararajah. Higher quality ingredients would be my guess.

The highest quality curry powder, perfect for special meals. Maharajah is sweet and rich, not hot, with fragrant cardamom and a full pound of Spanish Coupé saffron in every 100 lbs. of curry powder. Add glorious color and flavor to chicken and seafood curry.
