Pie crust emergency!

I'm making chicken pot pie for dinner. It's snowing like crazy (so I'm not going out for more flour), and it's time to make the crust. I only have about half of the all-purpose flour that I need to make a pie crust. Can I substitute bread flour for the rest? Will it make much of a difference? Please answer asap.

TIA,

Cindy

if you have cake flour, which is low in gluten, add it with the bread flour, which is high.

It probably won't make a difference, but make sure. . .

to add some extra fat/butter and make sure to handle it as little as possible. 1 1or 2 tablespoons of vinegar added to the crust will help keep it more tender, and you won't notice the flavor. Add it when you add the water.
