lemons paper thin and saute in olive oil until browned, chop and add to the dish. It sounds good but I'm wondering if the lemons will turn the dish bitter.

What do you think?

Thanks, Charley but I did two slices to test out the taste. Golden brown and beautiful. Tastes

HORRIBLE! Think I'll just add a bit of zest to the finished dish.

I do roasted lemons all the time, they are one of the more fabulous things

I have discovered! Made a huge tray of roasted veggies and put in lots of lemon wedges. They roasted up beautifully, released the juices into the dish, and the result is caramelized chunks of heaven. Yes, they have a sweet caramely taste and just a hint of bitter which is wonderous! With my home grown lemons, I do not get that slightly bitter taste, just sweet lemon heaven. They are on their way, got our first ripened one yesterday.

Why would one need to fry them in oo...they brown up so nicely when incorporated

with other ingredients in the oven, with a drizzle of evoo.

I was making a pasta dish that doesn't go in the oven . You fry the lemon slices and toss

with the pasta , spinach and shrimp.
