Wanted to let you know that we went to Half Moon in Kennett Square the other week. Dinner was good, but my entree couldn't hold a candle to the mushroom appetizer. It was fantastic! Next time, that is what I will get with a side salad.

I'm so glad you liked it! For those reading here, I copied it from their menu:

Half Moon Exotic Mushrooms sauteed cranberries & walnuts in claret sauce, over melted gorgonzola ciabatta.

It is an awesome appetizer from Kennett Square (mushroom country in Andrea's neck of the woods) and about a 45 minute drive for me.

Andrea, I had emailed them last year for the recipe and they gave it to me but of course the chef did not reveal exact measurements. I keep meaning to try and reconstruct the recipe. Marilyn is an expert in this, she calls it "reverse - something or other.
