I avoid bottled water as much as possible. Producing the plastic bottles is very polluting. So is
recycling them. And if they don't make it to the recyclers they live on in landfills or in the oceans for decades. Then there's the amount of fuel to move it around the country, and also, what might be in it?
I used to think my city had terrible tap water, but then we had our house re-piped and voila! the water tasted great. And there are always home filters.
