Dianncy, I made 'my' pumpkin smoothie. Here's my laughable report.
After I got it all made according to directions, except I used coconut milk and stevia rather than sugar; it was just a tad sour, I found myself wanting a pumpkin pie taste rather than just pumpkin...I never got it.
My pumpkin pie spice was old, so I forgot trying to add that to the mix.
I started out by using Farmers Market organic pumpkin (which always seems to be a bit milder than traditional store-bought canned pumpkin. I used Native Forest coconut milk and Sunrider's Sunnydew (stevia). My sugar free yogurt was Cascadian Vanilla.
I ended up adding more cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, added some vanilla and agave nectar and a whole tray of ice cubes. Then more cinnamon, then more cloves.....finally the rest of the coconut milk...
This verison drinkable and enjoyable, but not to savor or desire.
Mine turned out a bit yellow rather than orange in color.
If you try it the first time you might want to try it like the orig. recipe. I can see where our trys wouldn't end up the same because all coconut milks are different, the canned pumpkin is different.
I've had 2 glasses and I'm full, with a whole blender-full still to drink sometime later.
My cats like it! smileys/smile.gif
