Q: How long is meat/etc in the freezer good? Should I toss this stuff?...

So I found some Omaha steaks, chicken, pork chops, etc hidden at the bottom of my freezer. They don't have freezer burn given the shrink wrap, but I noticed the red meat is a bit darker than when I first got it. Honestly, I think it's about 2 years old. Is it dead? Should I toss it?

 
It won't hurt you, but the flavor could be off. However if the shrink wrap was sturdy it might be

just fine.

 
I agree with Joe- and I would use it in stew, stir fry, with bbq sauce, etc

I personally would probably not grill or roast plain- but I would use up for sure.
