Question about lemon meringue pie

All:

I made the lemon meringue ice cream pie on the cover of the recent Bon Appetit. However, just before I was to add the meringue part, all of my kids got sick. That was 5 days ago. Now they are well and I want to add the meringue and serve tonight. It has been frozen all this time. Will it be okay to serve? I guess I don't know how long one can freeze the lemon custard before it can no longer be used. Any thoughts?
