Question on oven liners

I just use a foil one from the Dollar store and replace it with a new one when necessary. Haven't

noticed any change in cooking time. Works pretty good and is inexpensive.

That's pretty much what I've been using. We eat a lot of baked/roasted chicken. NT

I don't have an oven liner...

but I have a self-cleaning oven.

Now, if I could just remember to run the cycle more often.

(Ann, where are you in NH? I'm just over the border in Mass)

Warning: I used to use foil till it caught my oven on fire

Who knew that could happen -- not me till it did. On a really-really bad day, I glitched the baking soda instead of powder causing an Outrageous Brownies spillover disaster and the oven caught on fire. It was full on fire -- and it was the foil that was burning.

Now, I haven't done anything like that before or since but I no longer line my oven with foil.
