question re: refreshing buns/bread in the oven that have been frozen

I have some ciabatta buns, currently frozen, that I would like to refresh in the oven. For the best results, should I completely defrost them, & then should they be covered or uncovered in the oven?

i figured someone here would have some great advice to share - thanks smileys/smile.gif

I would defrost them first. If they're crusty, I'd put into a 400* over for about 10 minutes..

If they're soft, I would wrap them in foil.

I re-warm my mini-loaves from frozen, wrapped in foil for about 10 minutes at 450, then

unwrap and crisp for about 5 more minutes.

I usually do them from frozen because I don't take them out in time to defrost. smileys/smile.gif
