Quick, easy and delicious. 4 Minute Spicy Garlic Shrimp

I have made this too, and it is a great recipe. I cooked mine in a

cast iron frying pan on my bbq grill. the pan got nice and hot. This was my first introduction to Montreal Steak Seasoning, and I love that stuff. I have done the same kind of thing with veggies in a stir fry, they were good too, especially the asparagus. I think this one should go in the T&T.

Dawn, great idea about cooking on the grill. Thanks. I found a copy cat recipe for

Montreal Steak Spice and blended my own. I've since cut back the salt by 50% as I found it far too salty for my taste.

Seasoning and Spice Recipes

Faux Montreal Steak Spice

Ingredients:
4 tablespoons salt (I use only 2 T)
1 tablespoon black pepper
1 tablespoon dehydrated onion
1/2 tablespoon dehydrated garlic
1/2 tablespoon crushed red pepper
1/2 tablespoon dried thyme
1/2 tablespoon dried rosemary
1/2 tablespoon dried fennel

Oh that is great, because I find it a little too salty myself

but I never thought of trying to copycat this. Your recipe makes about a half cup? I will definitely be making this and passing it on to my friends. Thanks Sylvia!
