Quick help needed please - a couple of my jars that I'm processing

(crabapple jelly) have bubbles coming up from around the lid, it looks like. Should I redo it - take it out and start the "processing" process all over again for those two?

Now, after I took them out, they all popped down on the way to the counter!

Is there such a thing as overprocessing them, creating too much of a vacuum in the jar so they ping in really quickly? (I don't think so.)

Then one fell over, popped up, and after I set that one up straight again, it popped down again... if they all stay down by morning, I'm going to assume they're safe. Right?

This is probably the last canning I'll do for the season anyway. I'm going to freeze my pumpkin puree.

Hasn't this ever happened to anyone else?

The popping and unpopping and repopping, I mean. But now that they're still down, I'm assuming they're ok. Thanks.

Don't reprocess, Dawn. I think it may be the air being forced out. I've noticed it

many many times and have never had a problem with any of my home canned products.

Enjoy them!
