Rachel Ray, Ethan Stowell, Roger Berkowitz & Kathy Casey Seafood Snacks for Superbowl

Thank you so much for posting this! Funny story...

Kathy Casey is a friend of mine, and I used to do PR for Ethan Stowell. He'll be thrilled to see he's right behind Rachel Ray. smileys/smile.gif (Kidding!)

 
I want to go to a Superbowl party....

but no one I know is hosting one! My friends are not interested. I just want to go for the snack and the commercials! haha!

 
We'll be on a cruise ship for Super Bowl Sunday...

and they have been known to throw a decent party. However, the first time we were on a Princess cruise for SBS, we had to do a bit of "education".
When we asked where they would be showing the game, the answer was "one of the sports bars". We shook our heads and told them that it best be in the largest venue they had with a wide screen and satellite feed to get the game. We also said that many appropriate game time munchies would be good.

So, they moved the showing to the largest space, the stern dance floor lounge. Ok, good start! They sent waiters wearing black jackets, with trays of 6 stuffed mushrooms and a few containers of snack mix.
Again, we shook our heads and sent a bunch of guys up to the burger grill to order trays loaded with burgers, dogs, pizza, chips and salsa and buckets of beer.

So, the word must have gotten out and last trip on Princess (last year) that included a Super Bowl game, they had their ducks in a row...largest venue, huge buffet of typical game day eats.

Looking forward to next Sunday...for the warm sunshine and the game!

Go Hawks though. We could have some fun...good luck and have fun.

 
You might be a bit outnumbered Orchid, but sure!

There will be some Hawks fans aboard, but I'm guessing they will be in the minority.

It will be a fun way to start the cruise.

 
Oh Judy! Sounds like such fun! So needed after the weather you have had! Are you heading south?

We are not heading to a Super Bowl party either. For years, we have gone to a friends home, but

this year, they are not hosting. (Heading out of town). We are not sports people, so the idea of a party would crack everyone up. I was laughing to dh, saying that if we invited the tea group..... It would be with the caveat that you really don't watch the game, you must like wine, you must enjoy dips and by the way, the party is over after 1/2 time! : )

SO, we are contemplating heading to a ski place. The slopes will be empty!!!

 
Barb, we did go south

We did back to back 7 day cruises out of Ft. Lauderdale. The first was Western Caribbean, the 2nd was Eastern Caribbean.

Had a warm, wonderful time.

Where does your cruise from NYC go?
