--stone cold. Oven on the fritz after 9 years of no trouble. rats again. It's an Amana Big Oven, gas, and I took off the bottom to see what I could see,and nothing. no spark no flame, nada. everything else works just fine. Repair guy is coming out tomorrow. in the meantime, cookies are on the cookie sheet, covered, on the back deck. Maybe the neighbors will let me bake them up tonight. Grandson gets his package mailed today w/o the cookies. sad, but tomorrow will be too late. rats.

 
oven is all better now. when they say "11-12:30", they really do mean that they can arrive at

12:30. took a big chunk out of my workday, which isn't all too sad. I can bake again to my heart's content. $215 dollars for a 20 minute repair. gahhhh.
