I decided to join on Saturday so that I could spend more time looking around. I spent 3 hours just poring through all of the items from toiletries to foodstuffs! I jotted down a lot of prices for reference. It’s only five minutes out of my way on the way home from work.

Okay, so what did I buy? I bought a two-pack of fryer chickens, one dozen of surprisingly good croissants, smoked gouda cheese for less than half of what my local Acme charges, 20-pack of Bounty paper towels, and a black peppercorn spice grinder.

I saw a lot of the items that you guys recommended. Frozen battered halibut… deluxe fish & chips!! The prices and selections are so unbelievable. Unfortunately, they don’t sell wine due to Pennsylvania state law.

I now have a major incentive to get my refrigerator defrosted and make more room in my apartment so I can stock up with more Costco goodies!

Just what you need Sandy...found an article about the new GE 6 ft wide French door fridge

on line. It has two 3 foot refrigerators side by side with two freezer drawers on the bottom. Will be available in August. And it's only $15,000! I was really amused at the remark about the "Costco effect" driving a market for larger refrigerators.
