Reason #61 why I dislike moving: cleaning out the fridge.

Reasons #1-60 were the 60--yes, count 'em--60 boxes of books we packed and moved. I should open a library.

So this weekend we make the trek to our new home back east. But we still have five days here, and we're already down to bits and pieces in the fridge. I don't want to go shopping or make anything major. Maybe grilled cheese sandwiches for dinner tonight...my crock pot has already been packed...silly me.

I'm also not looking forward to cleaning the fridge. It's in pretty good shape, but still...blech.

 
Have you tried those premoistened wipes?

Clorox or Lysol makes lemony ones in tubs. I find they are nice for the fridge, esp. with the bleach in them.... The worst thing about cleaning the fridge to me, is cleaning UNDER it - cause the crevice tool of the vaccum does NOT fit and the only thing to do is pull the darn thing out. uck.

I'll be thinking of you Amanda! When I moved I had 14 boxes alone for the kitchen, and I have a teeny studio kitchen now! LOL

I already threw out a bunch of stuff. My rule is that if you question it, out it goes. I'm just afraid of when my mom arrives on Friday and sees it!
