With the holidays coming up, thought I'd give a shout out to my t&t go to special occasion, it takes a while but is soooo worth it choice for beef tenderloin. Everyone I've ever served this to raves about it and I'm asked to make it for birthdays/holidays often. The sauce is TDF.
I make the shallots and broth mixture a day ahead to keep is simple.
