Here's one I got from Food Network and it got raves - if you are missing hummus - this is a very good replacement!!So easy too.
4 cups black beans, drained ( I used 3 cans because we like our hummus, as it should be, thicker!)
1 cup tahini
3/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup canola oil
2 tablespoons garlic, minced
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons black pepper
Place all ingredients in a mixing bowl. Mix with a wire whisk until smooth. Place in 2 plastic containers and refrigerate.
