2 kg potatoes

butter for the pan

500 g Crème fraîche or sour cream

250 g whipping cream

Salt

black pepper

1/2 tsp. nutmeg

150 g Gouda-Cheese

Peel the potatoes and slice into thick slices. Layer/arrange in a heavily buttered baking dish.

Stir together the creams, salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Pour over the potatoes.

Bake at 350 for appr. 1 1/2 hours.

Grate the gouda and sprinkle over the potatoes 20 minutes before the end of cooking.

Finish baking until golden brown.
