REC: cheesey french toast
I had a bit of cream cheese left, to much to ditch and too little for a recipe so I experimented with French Toast.
take your slightly stale bread, smear one slice with cream cheese and press the other slice on to make a sandwich. soak in your egg mixture and sprinkle with cinnamon and fry till golden. yummers with whatever syrup you choose. just be careful not to burn your mouth with hot cheese.
I'll bet this would be good with jelly spread on the other slice of bread. kinda like a cream cheese & jelly french toast.
