REC Chicken-whatever

I thought I'd post this, not sure what it's called, but it was delish...

2 bone-in chicken breasts

1 clove garlic

1/2 cup soy-ginger vinaigrette

2 T peach preserves

1/2 onion, chopped

1 t curry powder

Mix all and let cook in a crockpot on HI for about 5 hours. Probably could've used less cooking time, but it was falling off the bone.

Makes a nice gravy, served on a roll like pulled pork!

This sounds really good Dawn.

What brand of vinaigrette did you use? I have some Newman's but is there another one you used? I am always looking for crockpot recipes, thanks!

I'll have to take a look... it was in the "natrual" secction, so it

may have been Newman's!

I forgot that I also added a 1/2 cup of Heineken beer, and also a mall tomato, sliced. It disintegrated in there, but gave the sauce a nice reddish color. Great over rice the next day, too.

Nope, it was Wegmans' won brand. I think any ginger-based one would

give the same flavor, however! I get a lot of emails about crockpot cooking, in case you want me to forward them to you. Just let me know.
