my mother made chocolate waffle cookies all the time when i was

a kid i posted here recipe her awhile back. i used a different frosting than she did. her's was much like Martha's cocoa, powdered sugar and milk.

Both of these recipes look great. I can see them with ice cream sandwiched between.

Copied and saved to make when the grandkiddies visit. Meryl, you may just have to find a vintage iron at the thrift store.

My mom used to make chcoco waffle cookies, but she used a cake mix and canned frosting. I've been

wondering how to do a from scratch one, so we will try this.
