The asparagus appetizer above reminded me of these. If you have really good homemade type white bread they are amazingly good-The first time I had these I thought they were some type of pastry I couldn't identify. A friend brought them to work. You can make a lot of them for very little money too.
CINNAMON CHEESE ROLLS

2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
2 egg yolks
2 lbs. thin white bread (Pepperidge Farm)
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. melted butter
1 c. cinnamon sugar mixture
Cream egg yolks, sugar and cream cheese. Remove crusts from bread. Roll bread flat with rolling pin. Spread bread slices with cream cheese mixture, going all the way to the edge. Roll up. Brush with melted butter and dip in cinnamon sugar mixture. Cut in half. Bake 7 minutes at 350 degrees. Makes 76 rolls. May be frozen before heating.
