1 lb ground beef or turkey

1 medium onion, chopped

1 jar of your favorite pasta sauce (~ 26 oz)

12 oz container cottage cheese

1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese

1 egg

12 oz lasagna noodles (no need to cook!)

12 oz shredded mozzarella cheese (reserve 1/2 cup)

Brown meat and onion in skillet and drain fat. Add sauce and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes.

In a separate bowl, combine cheeses (except reserved 1/2 cup) and egg; mix thoroughly. Spoon a layer of meat sauce onto the bottom of crock cooker, followed by double the amount of noodles; repeat until all ingredients are used up.

Sprinkle reserved 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella on the top, cover, and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for about 3 hours.

 
P.S. Olga, I see you posted something very similar at Gails, a while ago...

I didn't see it until just now, when I was looking over there for cooking times (to compare).

Made it again while I had the crockpot out and in the dish drainer, and it is verrrry good, isn't it!
