3 cups fresh sliced peaches, chopped
2 cups water
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 cup pancake mix
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup milk
2 tablespoons melted butter
Combine peaches, water, sugar, and lemon juice in a 2 quart sauce pan. Bring to a boil. Add remaining ingredients; stir gently and drop by tablespoons into boiling water.
Reduce heat, cover tightly, and cook 15 minutes without removing lid. Serves 6 to 8.
