Fava beans are such a treat each year when Whole Foods gets in a few. I made this spread but instead of bread I put a spoonful in endive leaves, sprinkled a few toasted pignolis on top, shaved a bit a parmesan cheese, dribbled a few drops of black truffle oil and devoured!
