Question...

Deb, did you use the stated am't of Kosher salt in recipe (1/4 cup + 1 1/2 tsp.)? I'm sure this was including the am't of salt used to cook pasta but comments on this recipe complained of "salty" results. Thanks, Steph

 
Good catch - I didn't add any salt to the water the gnocchi cooked in.

I seasoned the sauce once I had made it.

 
I never even looked at the rating....just knew that hubby loves gnocchi and mac/cheese:)

I saw the recipe in the actual mag and I must have totally missed the reviews - lol. I just knew not to add salt to the water the gnocchi is boiled in - feeling that it was better to season the final dish.

 
I always look at the ratings. Guess I'm trying to hedge my bets. Today I made a dish that was

pretty enough to go viral on social media, but the dressing and marinade were way off balance. It was a looker, but I had to scramble to fix it.

 
It's odd. I got DIRECTLY to the #1 ratings for books, but that's only because they don't have melted

cheese all over their covers to distract me.

 
I wonder if you add your review how much the stars would go up. Might be a nice bump
