RECIPE: REC: Grilled Thai Chicken Breasts with Herb Lemongrass Crust...

RECIPE:
Barbara, So glad that you said you grew lemongrass...

I live in a small town and can't get it anywhere. But didn't realize I could grow it. So I will do so next year and try this and many other recipes.

Many thanks for the info!

Best to you and Mike,
Deb

Karen and Deb, lemongrass grows easily here in the summer...

attached is a pic from my garden last year. Karen, you are right it didn't make it over the winter, I had to replant. This year's plant is not quite as big YET. I did not use enough of it last year and am committed to do more with it this year. The thread along with the pic has more good recipes....Deb, definitely plant some, it grows easily, is very attractive and is tasty too!

Made this tonight. Marinated for about 6 hours. I'd let it go overnight next time, and...

...I'd definitely cut the salt in half!!!!

I wonder if 1 1/2 tablespoons of kosher salt is correct. I added the whole amount because I've used salty marinades before and they tend to act like brines. This one was just way too salty for me.

The family really liked it otherwise, and asked me to make it again.

Thanks Barbara!

Michael
