I hosted my orchestra for dinner after our concert yesterday and someone brought this lethal dip. People swarmed it. I promptly christened it the "Dip of the Four Fats", but now that I have the recipe, I don't know why there isn't any butter in this. Then it would have a nicer ring: Dip of the Five Fats.

It's sinful.

Hot Bacon & Swiss Dip

1-8 oz. package cream cheese, softened

1/2 c. mayo

8 oz. grated swiss cheese

2 T chopped green onion

8 slices bacon, cooked until crisp and crumbled

Combine cream cheese, mayo, swiss cheese and onion, mixing well. Spread mixture in a 9-inch microwave-safe plate. Microwave on high for 4 minutes or until thoroughly heated. Sprinkle with bacon bits and serve with pita chips or crackers.
