Rec. Okra and Corn in Cream

1-1/2 c fresh corn, cut from cob

1/4 c. melted butter

2 c sliced okra (1/2" thick)

1 tsp salt

dash pepper

1/2 c half-and-half

Cook corn in buter over low heat, about 7 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add okra; cover and cook 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in salt and pepper and half-and-half, heat thoroughly.

Serves 4
