I follow David Lebovitz on Instagram and when he posted a link to his blog and this recipe, I had to try them

I made the cookies for an open house we had and they were a real hit. everyone said they had an interesting flavor twist, but nobody could identify it!

My notes on the recipe- it makes more like 60 cookies, using a scoop that made 1" balls of dough.

I only dipped the tops into the sugar mixture, so that may have decreased the smoky paprika flavor a tad, but they still are great!

smoked paprika

I'm gonna have to try this and the Paprika was intriguing but when I read the ingredients and it said "smoked" paprika I have to admit that made me pause extra long.

 
Because I record The Kitchen every Saturday, and because I noticed that Sunny Anderson

loves all things with smoked paprika, I have started using it more and more. I love it, and it certainly adds je ne sais quoi to a recipe.
This sounds very interesting,
