sounds like when i was gonna try peaches poached in green chartreuse...

i never had both pears and chartreuse in the house at the same time.went through 3 bottles waiting for the magic moment, but it never happened. i never could figure out why not.

I like it when he's tipsy. Here's some more:

Orange Chocolate Cream Liqueur

1 to 1-1/2 tsp. orange extract
2 Tbs. chocolate syrup
1-1/2 c. brandy, rum, or whiskey
1 can sweetened condensed milk*
1 c. cream
3 eggs

Whirl first 5 ingredients in blender. Blend in eggs on low speed. This is wonderful in coffee.

*Homemade sweetened condensed milk: Heat until sugar is dissolved: 1-1/2 c. sugar, 2/3
c. evaporated milk, 4 Tbsp. butter. Makes about 1-1/2 c.

Homemade Bailey's Irish Cream

1 can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 pint whipping cream
3 eggs
3 T. chocolate syrup
1/2 t. coconut extract
1/2 t. vanilla extract
10 oz. irish whiskey (or vodka)

Mix all ingredients in blender and
refrigerate. Shake before using.

I can't wait til I can have a drink again - I've got a little collection of recipes going, and

everything Marg posts sounds especially good. smileys/smile.gif
