This recipe comes from a Fireman's Cookbook that was given to me by a friend after 9/11. It's called Gourmet Firehouse Cooking.
Prosciutto Wrapped Green Beans with Brown Sugar Glaze
4 handfuls of green beans
4 thin slices of Prosciutto or other dried Italian ham
1/4# butter melted
1 c brown sugar
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp salt
Wrap a slice of the ham around some green beans to create a bundle and line in the bottom of a pan with sides.
Heat butter till melted and then add sugar and mi till sugar is melted (it will not combine).
Pour over beans and season with salt and pepper.
Wrap top with foil and bake at 350, 15-20 mins.
